Okay, so hear me out.
... Anyone know if they're just trying to advertise for WiiU SNES games, or if they've finally caught up to Sony, who managed to put out a PS1 emulator on a weaker system?
So I just finished reading "A Dance With Dragons". No spoilers in THIS post, though there's likely to be some in any replies. But let me just say this:
I enjoy DC Universe Online, but playing an MMO on a console has some pretty obvious drawbacks. Namely, too many people simply don't communicate.
The flu got me through the year's first work Monday without having to do much work.
Okay, so I figured I'd boot up DC Universe Online again, since I DO remember paying for at least one month of subscription shortly after the game launched, and they seem to have 30 days of free Legendary subscription for "anyone who's purchased a Legendary subscription between January 11th 2011 and December 2012".
So I guess the Kotaku front page kinda disappeared, along with the entirety of blog.kotaku? Oddness.
So, James Bond: Skyfall! Just got back from it.
Figured I'd replay Final Fantasy 9 on my Vita, since it's about a decade since I originally finished it, and y'know, the Vita works well for PS1 games (unless they're Tomba or Resident Evil 2 in Europe, of course).
So the new, undeletable Singstar icon on the Playstation XMB is getting some (somewhat well-deserved) flak. http://www.thesixthaxis.com/2012/10/24/sonys-nina-scherer-responds-to-questions-over-singstars-new-place-on-the-xmb/ and http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2012/10/23/get-ready-for-singstar-on-the-xmb/
Arrrrgh. NOW I remember why I hated "Chocobo Hot & Cold" at the end of my first playthrough of FF9 a decade ago.
Tomba! is out on European PSN, finally. Yay!
I'm liking FF9 a lot, replaying it on the Vita 10-12 years after I first finished it... But damn, the game has some of the most annoyingly placed save points.
Seems like it's too late to edit my older post here, so here's an updated version of the same thing.
Red Dead Redemption's latest patch added in support for Playstation Home costumes. That didn't go quite as planned.
And the best part is, you now have 99 Ultima Weapons.
See, the "granny" thing was a disguise...
So before, it used to be that clicking the Kotaku link after clicking myself into an article from Blog.kotaku.com would take me back to Blog.kotaku.com. However, it doesn't any more. Is there a way to force it to do that, for convenience's sake?
